Samsung ha presentato tre nuovi modelli della serie P, indirizzati al segmento business, chiamati rispettivamente P580 (15,6″), P480 (14″) e P530 (15,6″). Racchiusi in uno chassis nero, in lega di magnesio per i modelli P480 e P580, questi tre nuovi notebook si contraddistinguono per la cover gommata, trattata con soluzione anti-urto e anti-graffio, capace di resistere a forti sollecitazioni.

I tre portatili sono basati su piattaforma Intel Core, Windows 7 Professional e scheda grafica Nvidia GeForce GT330M. Tutti i modelli hanno schermi LED HD antiriflesso. P580 e P530 integrano anche il tastierino numerico. I modelli P580 e P480 dispongono anche di ulteriori funzionalità come il modulo TPM (Trusted Platform Module) per crittografare dati e documenti e il sistema Anti Shock che prevede uno sensore nell’hard disk che interviene in caso di caduta del portatile.

Samsung serie P

Questi notebook integrano anche differenti tecnologie per la comunicazione: wireless LAN, connessioni per microfono e cuffie per comunicazioni VoIP, webcam integrata, 3 porte USB, connessione VGA e il lettore di schede SD, SDHC ed MMC.

Samsung P580 è in vendita da 929 euro, P480 sarà disponibile da giugno da 849 euro, mentre il P530 sarà nei negozi da fine maggio a 849 euro. Di seguito le specifiche tecniche dei portatili:
